About Us
The Sioux Falls Star Trek CCG Player's Guild was started as a way for Star Trek CCG players in Sioux Falls to get together and play each other in a fair and open competition, learn tips and tricks of other players, and increase the strength of our own decks.
We meet on Sundays at 1600 once a week at Gigabytes Computer Store. Each player gets to work on his/her deck, trade and buy cards and supplies, and learn how to play Star Trek CCG. We play 2-3 games and finish by 2100. The winners of the games receive small prizes like a rare card single or other prizes. We hold private tournaments 3 times a year where we have food catered in and award much larger prizes.
The membership fees, tournament fees, and items offered for sale at the Games stay in the Guild to pay for the website, prizes, and bigger and better items offered for sale. The money stays within the guild for the benefit of the players.
We also hold regular functions like annual Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter, and 4 of July parties where members can receive prizes, and free food.
We also award Player of the Month and Player of the Year Awards where members receive cards and other prizes.
The games are open to spectators by invitation only.
Anyone may join the guild provided that they have been invited to do so by another player.
