This tactic was developed by Terrill to help him defeat one or more Killer Dilemmas. The idea will also work with Soong-Type androids.
Beam down an exocomp to begin encountering dilemmas. This is perfectly legal according to Decipher's rules, however your opponent can play a "Thine Own Self" and make it completely ineffective. Because the exocomp does not have gender, it is immune to gender-related dilemmas and can usually bust through many dilemmas.
