November 4, 2001 Game Notes
Winners: Romulan, Non-Aligned (fed), Maquis, Klingon, Ferengi
Ferengi vs. Maquis
The Maquis scored an impressive 126-28 victory over the Ferengi. This game almost was 126- -1 as the Ferengi tended to move extremely slow solving missions.
Non-Aligned vs. Non-Aligned
Lt. Skidmore is starting to score more points against his opponents, however, the point that ended his game was Admiral Froelich's brilliant combination of a Sheliak and a Duonetic Field Generator that trapped an entire away team on the surface of the planet. Not one to shy away from the exploitation of new technology, Admiral Froelich sailed to victory with a Quantum slipstream drive 120-51.
Romulan vs. Cardassian
Despite losing 9 points and having his ship stopped by a killer dilemma early in the game, the Romulans quickly move up to 90 points. Gul Tonec gets stuck on 2 Theta Radiation Poisonings, preventing him from recovering a 7 point deficit for the rest of the game. He also let the Romulans off easy with his one killer dilemma. Final score: Romulans 125 to -7 Cardassian. This is the first negative score game the Romulans have ever done.
Federation vs. Ferengi
In a surprise turn of events, Damon Darc with some well-placed dilemmas and an appropriately played temporal rift came from behind and scratched out a 112 to 83 victory over the Federation.
Klingon vs. Non-Aligned
Owing to mis-seeded dilemmas and the complete inability to solve any missions, Lt Skidmore Suffers yet another overwhelming loss 125-0.
