October 14 2001 Game Notes
Winners: Federation x2, Romulan x2, Cardassian, Klingon
Another Romulan-Klingon skirmish
Having had many practices outside the guild, Kim K'chiq was well-prepared to score points. Before enduring the loss of one outpost to the Sheliak and uncovering another she quickly amassed 87 points. Romulan 105 - 22 Klingon
The DMZ
The Federation ventured forth into the DMZ to take on Cardassian and Non-aligned forces. For a time, the Cardassian Union kept pace with their Federation counterparts 70-70 until a last-minute Sheliak promptly removed 30 points from Cardassia. Federation 70, Cardassian 40, Non-aligned 20. Time was called.
To Score or not to Score
The Admiral turned his attention to the Ferengi in the second game. Damon Darc set up to strike at the Federation to stop it at 65 points. He then hesitated, worried at the size of the Federation defenses. Darc went home scoreless.
For Cardassia!
Once again keeping pace and scoring a number of points, Gul Tonec scored 79 points against his Romulan opposition before the Sheliac intervened. Romulan 105 - 44 Cardassian.
No test for a warrior's mettle.
Battle-hardened, the Klingons turn their forces to Lt. Skidmore's fleet. Despite some mix-ups during play, the Klingons scored a quick victory 125-65.
