1-21-2003 Thank You Guild Members

 

I want to say thank you to all of the guild members for their support of the guild in the last few weeks.  Because you have purchased cards, sleeves and memberships from the guild, you have allowed the guild to grow and prosper.  As a special thank you, the guild will be making the cards a permanent item in the store and the guild members will be treated to pizza from Papa John's during the tournament.

Guild Stats

Several Changes have been made to the guild stats primarily for simplicity.  It has been increasingly difficult to score the guild because the stats have been printed in many different places.  Cumulative scores are under Guild Standings while the current stats are under your race and name.  From now on, your current stats will be added to your cumulative stats once every tournament cycle and will stay with you even if you make a mid-cycle change.  No announcement will be made unless questions are posed to me.

Record Sales

Guild Sales are already 1/2 of last year's take.  I have been able to buy a whole box of second edition boosters to sell in the guild with the money we have raised.  The guild will continue to benefit from increased buying power because of your support.

Skidmore in sickbay

Skidmore is currently in the hospital for a large blood clot in his leg.  I am told that it is life-threatening and he will not be able to attend the guild tournament.  Pahl P'tn sends his best wishes and prayers as I am sure all of you do as well.

Pahl P'tn Returns

I have recently spoken to Pahl P'tn and he will be here for the tournament and may be able to play one game before he goes to work on Sundays.  Let's show our support and let him know we want him to play again.

Kim K'chiq returns

I am pleased to announce that K'chiq has returned to regular play in the Guild thanks to Ank'thok.

New Players

I wish to welcome T'lonn and Cadet Marie to the guild.  I feel they will do well in the guild.

Sealed deck tournament in February

A 2nd edition sealed deck tournament will be held in February 23 at 11a.  Your director for the event will be our very own Fleet Admiral.  Cost is only $10 to participate and includes the cards which you get to keep!
